Schools can commission as much or as little Educational Psychology support as is necessary. This is tailored to meet school needs and the needs of the pupils. Based on school feedback, we are confident that our service delivery is ideally suited to school needs.
Commissioned work can be bought in by:
- an individual school
- a group of schools
- or at a multi academy trust level.
Work can be adapted according to need and requirements.
Planning for work
We work in partnership with the SENCo and/ or inclusion lead to plan the work around the number of days commissioned. Priorities are discussed and a shared action plan is populated. Timescales are discussed and agreed, following this work then commences.
Variety of work
Commissioned time can be tailored and adapted to suit school needs. This may be entirely casework related or an approach that incorporates casework, whole school development and CPD.
Footsteps will work in a variety of ways to ensure best outcomes for pupils. We work with children and young people aged 2 – 25. Work we typically offer includes:
- Individual therapeutic work
- Group therapeutic work
- Psychological assessments and planning
- Multi agency working
- Drop in sessions for staff and/ or parents
- Advice on identification and intervention for specific groups of pupils
- Advice on school provision for learners
